Commencement Weekend in New York City | April 23–25
Set against the beautiful backdrop of the New York Botanical Garden, WGU alumni, university leaders, and community partners gathered for an inspiring Elevating Impact Event celebrating leadership, service, and shared purpose. The evening recognized Distinguished Graduates, community partners, and powerful stories of resilience that reflected the transformative impact of education.
The celebration continued through commencement weekend, where more than 1,700 graduates crossed the stage in New York City. Surrounded by family, friends, and fellow Night Owls, graduates from across the country celebrated a milestone filled with pride, joy, and WGU spirit.
