Night Owl Networking Mixer in Phoenix, AZ
January 30–West Region

WGU alumni in Phoenix gathered at Blanco Cocina + Cantina for a networking event, connecting with fellow Night Owls, sharing career insights, and enjoying great food and conversations.

WGU Day at the Capitol in Austin, TX
February 4–South Region

Alumni, students, and faculty gathered at the Texas State Capitol to meet lawmakers, share stories, and advocate for WGU’s role in higher education.

WGU Alumni Event at SPIN in Philadelphia, PA
February 7–Northeast Region

Alumni met at SPIN Philadelphia for an evening of networking and friendly competition, playing ping pong, enjoying food and drinks, and strengthening WGU connections.

WGU Hometown Heroes Event in Cincinnati, OH
February 13–Central Region

Held at Fountain Square Ice Rink, this event honored local Hometown Heroes, including teachers, healthcare workers, and veterans. Attendees enjoyed complimentary skating, snacks, and warm drinks.

WGU Night Owl Night Out—Career Builder’s Edition in Austin, TX
February 27–South Region

WGU alumni and students in Austin attended a career-focused Night Owl event at the WGU office, participating in résumé reviews, LinkedIn optimization tips, and networking.

WGU Night Owl Networking Mixer in San Jose, CA
February 27–West Region

Held at Olla Cocina, this mixer allowed 41 attendees to connect, network, and learn about the Tech Impactors Network while enjoying great food and discussions.
