Alumni Regional Events Near You

2024 has started off strong as we've brought our community together in various cities. Most recently, we've had social gatherings in Des Moines, IA, and Omaha, NE. It's been exciting to meet the community outside of the computer setting and enjoy in-person conversations, sharing our journeys with each other.

And for those eagerly awaiting their chance to join the fun, get ready! We're gearing up to bring the party to Houston and McAllen, TX; Orlando, FL; and St. Louis, MO. Expect fun-filled evenings with the chance to connect with fellow alumni.

But that's not all! We're working behind the scenes to launch a brand-new events page. Soon, you'll have easy access to all the upcoming gatherings nationwide as well as a peek into past events that have shaped our community. Stay tuned for more details!

College Name Changes

We're excited to announce a change in the naming of our academic divisions. You may have already noticed that the four colleges are now referred to as:

WGU School of Business
WGU School of Education
WGU School of Technology
Leavitt School of Health

Rest assured, this change does not alter the exceptional education and support you received during your time at WGU. Rather, it is a strategic shift to support the future growth of WGU and its degree programs. We wanted to bring this to your attention because these updated names will be used in all future communications.
