Buy the Fries!

WGU and KFC

In case you hadn't heard, the KFC Foundation has partnered with WGU to offer 100% paid tuition to KFC restaurant employees who wish to pursue a degree. WGU's flexible degree programs give employees the ability to enroll at any time and start online courses when they are ready. This approach is particularly suitable for working learners, giving them control over the pace and timing of their education.

These initiatives are made possible through various funding sources, one of which includes proceeds from purchases of KFC's Secret Recipe Fries. The KFC Foundation's mission is to support and empower KFC restaurant employees by providing education opportunities, hardship assistance, nonprofit grants, and other charitable programs.

Next time you're at KFC, help fellow Night Owls and buy the fries!

Robin Rials Williams
Robin Williams, one of our very own WGU alumna, wrote an enlightening article on LinkedIn about her experience with ChatGPT.

Chatbots, Blogs, and the Fear of the Unknown: A Communication Specialist’s Personal Journey into AI. Read Here.

Dog Asking for Coffee

Galaxy in a Soup Bowl

Cute Coffee Cup

Doodle Painting

Did Robin's article pique your curiosity about artificial intelligence? It seems like this topic has taken the world by storm! Have you had the chance to try ChatGPT yet? If not, perhaps give it a try. After all, this newsletter has multiple purposes, one of which includes informing you about interesting new technologies.

OpenAI, ChatGPT's parent company, also offers an image generator tool called DALL-E. Above are some examples of my very own prompts using the platform:
  1. dog asking for coffee digital art
  2. the galaxy in a soup bowl
  3. cute coffee cup in animation style
  4. paint me a picture of a golden doodle painting a self-portrait
These platforms, among a growing number of many more, are not only fun and insightful to interact with, but they can also have practical applications in your professional life. Enjoy learning and creating with AI, and who knows, you may even discover new ways to enhance your work!
